Dr. John Brown a Texas citrus breeder crossed an open-pollenated seedling from a 'Sanford' Citrange (Ponciris trifoliata X Citrus sinensis) with a 'Changsha' Mandarin (Citrus reticulata) but suspected that the 'Sanford' Citrange had been pollenated with a Citrus maxima (Grapefruit or Pomelo). The seedling progeny of the resultant 'SsnCitChang' hybrid have had trifoliate leaves but seem highly vaiable. If it does have only 1\/8 Ponciris \"blood\" the fruit may indeed prove decent and our citrus expert Dr. Tom McClendon encourages further testing.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Woodlanders","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42057836167283,"sku":"CITR-COMP-HYBR-SANF-01G","price":23.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"url":"https:\/\/woodlanders.net\/products\/citrus-complex-hybrid-sanford-citrange-x-changsha","provider":"Woodlanders","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
