This Mandarin Orange was growing in the garden of Dr. Dave Creech near Nacogdoches, Texas. It had an abundance of excellent fruit (Tangerines) in October. Dr. Creech said it had come from the nursery of the late Sherwood Akin of Sibley, Louisiana who grew and experimented with a variety of hardy citrus. Dr. Creech thought it was 'Early St. Ann' Satsuma, a variety released by the Louisiana Citrus Research Station. We question this as 'Early St. Ann' is said to be essentially seedless whereas this had a fair number of seeds. In any case it appears to be quite hardy and has very tasty fruit.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Woodlanders","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42057835774067,"sku":"CITR-RETI-EARL-ST-01G","price":23.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0605\/7505\/5987\/files\/DETA-2124.jpg?v=1720137296","url":"https:\/\/woodlanders.net\/products\/citrus-reticulata-early-st-anne","provider":"Woodlanders","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
