Light Requirements: Prefers full sun. Ensure the plant receives at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal growth and flowering. It thrives in full sun and does not perform well in shaded areas.

Soil Requirements: Thrives in well-draining, sandy, or rocky soil. It prefers slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0). Amend the soil with sand or grit to improve drainage if necessary. It is highly tolerant of poor soils and prefers dry, sandy environments.

Watering: Requires minimal watering once established. It is drought-tolerant and prefers dry conditions. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Temperature and Humidity: Hardy in USDA zones 8-10. Prefers warm temperatures and low to moderate humidity. It is well-suited to hot, dry climates and can tolerate brief periods of cold but should be protected from frost in colder regions.

Fertilization: Generally does not require fertilization. Excess nutrients can promote excessive foliage growth at the expense of flowering. If growth appears slow, a light application of a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring can be beneficial.

Pruning: Prune lightly in early spring to remove dead or damaged branches and to maintain a compact shape. Regular light pruning can help promote a denser growth habit and encourage more prolific flowering.

Pests and Problems: Generally pest-resistant and not prone to serious diseases. Ensure good air circulation to prevent any fungal diseases. If pests such as aphids or spider mites are detected, treat with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
