This palm is the State Tree of South Carolina and Florida. It should be planted in full sun. It has blue-green fan shaped leaves, and a trunk diameter up to about a foot-and-a-half. It is native to coastal areas from North Carolina to Florida where it is found throughout the state but isuch planted outside native range. It commonly gorws to a height of about 30 feet but can get much taller in Florida. While usually found native on sandy soil it is adapatable to various soil conditions and moisture levels. It is usually available as expensive large specimens collected from the wild in Florida.

What to expect upon delivery
All our plants are sold in 1-gallon sizes, though the height of each plant can vary depending on its growth rate and seasonality, typically ranging from 1/2 to 2.5 feet.
Each plant is carefully packaged with its roots enclosed in a secure plastic bag containing moist soil, forming a compact root ball. To ensure safe transport, the box is padded with recycled newspaper, providing both stability and eco-friendly protection from weather during shipping.
