Flowers

Osmanthus americanus produces delicate, inconspicuous clusters of creamy white to pale yellow flowers in early to mid-spring. Fruit

Foliage

The evergreen foliage of Osmanthus americanus is one of its most striking features. The leaves are leathery, dark green, and elliptical to lanceolate, measuring 2–4 inches long with smooth margins. Unlike some other Osmanthus species, the leaves lack spines, giving the plant a softer, more refined appearance.
