Our conifer collection leans toward the ones you won't find at the average garden center. Rare native conifers like Taxodium distichum (Baldcypress) and Taxodium ascendens (Pond Cypress), which once defined the great southern swampscapes, sit alongside harder-to-source specimens like Keteleeria davidiana and Cunninghamia lanceolata — conifers that belong more naturally to botanical garden collections than backyard nursery stock. We grow all of them here in Aiken, South Carolina, propagated by hand and shipped across the country.
