Jasminum officinale, also known as white jasmine, is a climbing vine with delicate white blooms. This plant grows well in southern zones and performs best in full sun with support.

This fragrant jasmine spreads by twining and produces scented flowers during the warmer months. The green, compound leaves provide consistent coverage throughout the season.

Gardeners value this jasmine vine for the strong scent and compact form. These vines grow well near trellises, fences, or open frames where airflow is present, and suit gardens where scent and vertical interest are desired.
