The Prop House

Coming Fall 2026

Fall is the season a Southern gardener waits for, when the heat finally breaks and woody plants can go in the ground with a long, cool runway to root before spring. The plants gathered here are timed for exactly that window: shrubs and trees sized up over summer, perennials settled into their pots, ready to travel once the nights turn. Many are Southeastern natives that belong in the fall-planted border and along the restoration edge alike. Ask us to write when your choice is ready, and set the plant into the best window the calendar gives us.
