Common White Jasmine is a scandant twining vine with pinnate compound leaves with five to nine leaflets. It is native to the Sino-Himalayan region but has been grown in Europe for centuries. It is not commonly seen in the eastern U.S. but is satisfactory in the South where it is valued for the very fragrant white flowers borne in summer.
