Light Requirements: Prefers full sun for optimal growth and flowering but can tolerate light shade.

Soil Requirements: Thrives in well-draining soil; adaptable to various soil types, including sandy, loamy, and rocky soils, with a slightly acidic to neutral pH.

Watering: Drought-tolerant once established; water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system, then reduce watering frequency.

Pests and Problems: Generally pest-free and disease-resistant; occasional issues may include aphids or spider mites, which can be treated with insecticidal soap or neem oil.

Suitable Environment: Ideal for xeriscaping, butterfly gardens, and borders; attracts hummingbirds and butterflies with its vibrant flowers.
