Light Requirements: Prefers full sun to partial shade. It thrives best with at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. While it can tolerate partial shade, full sun ensures the best growth and flowering.

Soil Requirements: Thrives in well-draining soil. It prefers slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0). Incorporating organic matter such as compost can improve soil fertility and structure. It can tolerate a variety of soil types, including loamy, sandy, and clay soils, as long as they are well-draining.

Watering: Requires moderate watering. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water deeply to ensure the root zone is adequately hydrated. Once established, it can tolerate some drought but performs best with regular watering during dry periods.

Temperature and Humidity: Hardy in USDA zones 7-9. Prefers moderate temperatures and can tolerate a range of humidity levels. It is adaptable to various climates within its hardiness zones but should be protected from extreme cold.

Fertilization: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to support healthy growth and flowering. An additional application of compost or well-rotted manure can enhance soil fertility. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can lead to excessive foliage growth at the expense of flowering.

Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring to remove dead or damaged branches and to shape the plant. Light pruning helps maintain a tidy appearance and promotes better air circulation. Regular pruning encourages a denser growth habit.

Pests and Problems: Generally pest-resistant and not prone to serious diseases. Ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal diseases. If pests such as aphids or scale insects are detected, treat with insecticidal soap or neem oil. Regularly inspect the plant for any signs of disease or pest infestation.
