Soil Requirements: Thrives in well-draining soil. It prefers slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0). Incorporating organic matter such as compost can improve soil fertility and structure. It can tolerate a variety of soil types, including sandy and loamy soils, as long as they are well-draining.

Temperature and Humidity: Hardy in USDA zones 7-10. Prefers warm temperatures and can tolerate high humidity. It is well-suited to tropical and subtropical climates. Protect the plant from frost and freezing temperatures. In cooler regions, it can be grown as an annual or in containers that can be brought indoors during the winter.
