The flowers of Lonicera ‘Sulphurea’, often called the Yellow Trumpet Honeysuckle, are a striking departure from the scarlet-red blooms of typical Lonicera sempervirens. Each blossom forms a slender, elongated trumpet-shaped corolla that can reach up to 1.5–2 inches long, gracefully flaring at the tips into five subtle lobes. The blooms cluster in tight whorls at the ends of stems, creating an elegant, tiered display that repeats through the season.

Their coloration is the cultivar’s most distinctive trait: creamy lemon to soft butter-yellow tones that brighten as the flowers mature.
