Woodlanders
Woodlanders Field Hat
Every nursery keeps a working cap, the one that lives on the dashboard and comes back smelling of pine bark and potting mix. Ours wears an oak. Quercus has always been the South's way of keeping time, the tree you put in the ground for somebody you'll never meet, so it felt right to stitch one above the Woodlanders name.
The cap itself is garment-washed cotton twill, pigment-dyed, so it arrives already a little broken in and keeps softening from there. Low six-panel profile, a leather strap and antique brass buckle at the back, and a mesh-lined crown for the stretch of summer when Aiken forgets how to be temperate. Every dye lot fades its own way, which is a polite way of saying no two ever end up quite alike.
Three worn colorways: a two-tone Stone and Forest, a deep Burgundy, and Midnight Blue. The wear is the point. It starts looking like yours faster than you'd think.

Hat Details
Material: 100% garment-washed cotton twill, pigment-dyed. The dye is what gives each cap its slightly faded, lived-in character, and no two fade exactly alike.
Fit: One size fits most. Tuck-away leather back strap with an antiqued brass buckle and grommet for adjustment.
Shape: Unstructured, low-profile six-panel crown that sits soft and relaxed rather than tall. Preformed curved bill.
Lining: Cool-Crown mesh lining for breathability through a Southern summer.
Details: Self-fabric sweatband with four rows of stitching, sewn eyelets for ventilation, dyed-to-match construction throughout.
Care: Hand wash, lay flat to dry. The wash and dye are meant to keep softening, so it only ages in your favor.
