Alison' is a large deciduous shrub with large oak-like leaves, big panicles of white flowers, and exfoliating bark, this species is native almost exclusively to rich woods in Alabama but is very widely grown as a favored ornamental shrub. 'Alison' was selected by Dr. Michael Dirr on the University of Georgia campus and is a large plant with long flower panicles and excellent burgundy-red fall color. 'Alison' is a broader more spreading plant than 'Alice'. Plant in fertile well-drained but moist soil in shady or semi-shady sites or even in full sun with mulch and irrigation.

All our plants are sold in 1-gallon sizes, though the height of each plant can vary depending on its growth rate and seasonality, typically ranging from 1/2 to 2.5 feet.
Each plant is carefully packaged with its roots enclosed in a secure plastic bag containing moist soil, forming a compact root ball. To ensure safe transport, the box is padded with recycled newspaper, providing both stability and eco-friendly protection from weather during shipping.
